    Palazzo Cavour

    Built in 1729, this palace is an example of Piedmontese baroque architecture. Once the home of Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour, and now a gallery and exposition area, the building still sees the most important decision-makings of the day.

    Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama - Museo Civico di Arte Antica)

    Architect Filippo Juvarra created the facade that disguises the former residence of Madama Reale, or Marie Christine of France. What is actually a medieval castle, a Roman gate and a jumble of other buildings now houses a collection of ancient and Renaissance art, including a large display of ceramics.

    Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi

    This 18th century hunting lodge was decorated in a luxurious manner the influential Savoy family enjoyed. While staying briefly in the area, Napolean enjoyed the comforts of the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi.

    Royal Palace (Palazzo Reale) & Royal Armory (Armeria Reale)
    The prominent House of Savoy resided in the Royal Palace, beginning in 1645. Its rooms are decorated with rich tapestries and a collection of Chinese and Japanese vases. The Royal Armory houses an extensive array of arms, including examples from the 16th and 17th centuries.
